Q: Is this a good price for a 2010 Maxima?
Is $26,620 a good price for a 2010 Nissan Maxima 3.5 S? I’m going to buy one & this is the price the dealer gave me after rebates and incentives. I just want to make sure I’m not getting ripped off.

I am looking at getting a new car. I am going through college and as of now, I am driving a jeep liberty. It is killing me because it GUZZLES the gas. It takes over $40 to fill my tank up a week. Anyways, I am wanting a new 2010 white Nissan Maxima.

Are they good on gas?

A: Nissan Maximas are one the best cars on the market and gets better gas mileage than a liberty!! It’s powerful and luxurious and fun to drive!
However if you want a car with a little better gas mileage, a four cylinder altima is the way to go!

A: I have never remote started a Nissan Maxima. However all remote starts that I have used work the same way.

Press the button once, wait 2 seconds, then press it once more.

This prevents the pressing of the button from having been on accident. Different cars have had different timing on the buttons but always the two separated presses.

A: premium; you may start to notice a knocking or pinging noise from the engine if you use anything less, due to the high compression ratio of the engine.

which one do you think would win? im considering the legacy gt if i cant afford the 370z. Which do you think would win in a race? legacy 2.5 gt or the 2010 maxima?

A: yeah when these people answer, they say oh mine this and mine that. the crap is what you have. What you need to do, is test drive both. Look at what you drive. compare and contrast between the two.

If you are that picky about whos care is going to win a race. Well that depends, drag or take it around the lap ? either way, it also has a factor of what you put in the engine compartment, who drives it and what is the drivetrain force induction and blah blah blah. So yeah test drive and figure it out yourself.

Q: 2010 Nissan Maxima or Altima for my sweet sixteen?
So my birthday is April 18th, and it’s my SWEET SIXTEEN! Wow, I’m SO excited :) I talked to my parents, and they agreed to get me a new either 2010 Maxima or Altima. I’m gonna get it black or silver, DARK tinted windows, and subs. They agreed to pay for all of this if I pay for my gas and car payments or insurance (whichever is cheaper!). If I wreck this car or mess it up, I have to pay for it. Please don’t give me the whole, “You don’t need it” crap. Cause that’s not what I’m asking. The Maxima is way better. The only Altima I would consider is the 3.5SE coupe.

Q: Nissan Maxima – 2009 or wait for a 2010?
After months & months of research, I’m planning on leasing a 2009 Nissan Maxima on Tuesday with Premium + Technology Packages for 39 months. Competitively, I believe I’ve worked my dealer down to a good monthly rate with zero down.

My question: Does anyone know anything about the 2010 Maxima yet? Any pictures? From what I’m hearing, speculations are pointing towards the same thing as the 2009, which makes me want to move now. But there’s always that one thing I don’t want to regret later that I don’t have.

On the other hand, I need a car desperately. Every day, I’ve been hoping to get rides into work. Should I get the 2009 on Tuesday or wait for the 2010??!! When is the 2010 going on sale & is the price going to be the same or less?
Oh man, I saw a bunch more on the road today and last night. I can’t wait to get mine.

However, people are asking me why not look into an IS250 (Lexus) for the same price. I assume it’s because it starts at that price & isn’t fully suped like the Maxima I want.
Also, I’m only considering leasing because I’m 9 months married, and we’re renting an Apartment now. Not sure how much longer we’ll be there or buy a house; but most friends told me that leasing is the least committed – meaning, you’re not committing as much money upfront as if you would have bought the car for such a long time as you are leasing it.

I value the fact that I’m left with nothing in the end, and it sucks. But I’m looking at this as my first crack at leasing; next car I’ll buy. (I bought my last; a 2002 Honda Civic).

A: The ‘09 was the first year of this generation; the ‘10 is not likely to be much different, nor is it likely to cost less. If you want it, you might as well go for it – and maybe buy a ‘12 or ‘13 when it comes out.
